Business Succession Pros, Inc. (BSP, we, us, or our) operates businesssuccessionpros.com. This policy describes information collected through this website and related inquiries and scheduling. An engagement may involve additional information and separate contractual terms.

Information we collect

When you contact us or book a call, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, any telephone number, company name or role you choose to provide, appointment time and time zone, and messages or business context you share. Information comes directly from you and from scheduling and communication services used to handle your request.

Our hosting and scheduling providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, and access times to deliver and protect their services. Embedded third-party services may also use cookies and similar technologies, as explained below.

Please avoid sending Social Security numbers, account credentials, payment-card details, or sensitive personal or confidential business documents through scheduling fields or ordinary website inquiries. We can discuss an appropriate way to exchange engagement materials separately.

How we use and disclose information

We use inquiry and booking information to respond to you, schedule and deliver your call, assign an advisor, send confirmations and the pre-call overview, discuss requested services, and manage our communications and business relationship. We also use information as needed to operate and secure our services, meet legal obligations, and address disputes.

Information is available to BSP team members who handle your inquiry and to providers supporting those functions. Our current booking workflow uses Calendly for scheduling, Google Workspace for calendars, meetings, email and document storage, and Zapier to deliver the pre-call email. Our website uses OpenAI Sites hosting and its infrastructure providers. Communication and customer-relationship providers may process inquiry records on our behalf as part of managing our response.

We do not sell or rent your contact information or provide contact lists to marketing agencies for their own marketing. This statement concerns contact information; advertising technologies and third-party processing are described separately below.

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so, when legally required, or as reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security. This policy does not authorize us to send your inquiry to independent professional advisors for their own marketing.

Cookies, third-party services, and Google advertising

The current BSP website code does not install Google Analytics, Google Ads tags, Meta Pixel, or visitor-identification scripts. BSP's broader marketing may use Google advertising and measurement services. If you interact with ads or Google services, Google may process device, cookie, and interaction information under its own privacy terms and your settings. The Calendly calendar embedded on our booking page connects to Calendly when that page loads. Calendly and its providers may collect technical and cookie information, including information about activity over time and across sites, according to their own practices. Calendly provides its cookie choices where available. See the Calendly Privacy Notice. You can email BSP to arrange a call instead of using the calendar.

You can manage cookies through your browser and the controls offered by the third-party service. Blocking cookies can affect scheduling features. Our current site code does not change its behavior in response to the legacy Do Not Track signal. BSP has no website advertising tags to disable when it receives a Global Privacy Control signal. Third-party services have their own controls and responsibilities. We will update these disclosures and applicable choices before adding BSP-controlled advertising or analytics tracking to this website.

How long information is kept

BSP does not currently apply a single fixed retention period to all unconverted inquiries. Retention depends on the nature of the information, whether an inquiry or relationship remains active, service and recordkeeping needs, legal obligations, and dispute or security needs. Providers may retain backup or technical records under their own retention arrangements. You may ask us to delete information using the contact details below; some records may need to be retained for legitimate legal or business reasons.

Your choices and requests

You may email info@businesssuccessionpros.com with the subject “Privacy request” to ask what inquiry information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop promotional communications. Tell us enough to locate your inquiry, without sending sensitive identification documents. We may need to verify your identity or authority before disclosing or changing records.

If you receive promotional emails from BSP, you can use any unsubscribe option provided or contact us directly. Appointment confirmations and communications needed to handle a request are separate from promotional emails. Any privacy rights that apply under law remain available; this policy does not waive them.

Security and third-party websites

We use service-provider and account controls intended to protect information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Links to other websites and services are governed by their own privacy practices. Our website is intended for business owners and professional audiences, rather than children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We will post changes here and revise the date above. For material changes to how we handle previously collected information, we will also provide a prominent website notice or contact affected individuals where appropriate or required.
